Lufran's Dungeon and the Witch's Journey (Vita) Impressions Part 3 | Up to the Hidden Dungeon and Great Demon King Furfur

This post can be read in about 3 minutes.

It's been about a month since I bought "Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk," and I've finally reached the normal ending.

Currently, I've entered a hidden dungeon and am working on conquering it.
In my second article, I had just finished conquering Umbra, but this time I went straight to clearing the game.

About combat

In combat, Marginal Maze is the main source of damage.
It consumes a lot of resources, but if you combine the Great Sorcerer's Soul Pact or the Mud Master's Soul Pact with Marginal Maze, you can wipe out weaker enemies.

Once you obtain the White Rose Soul Binding Book in Memory of Rosatemps, equip everyone with Marginal Maze.
Furthermore, if you adopt a Donum defensive formation and position them in the rear, their firepower will increase even more.
This makes both regular battles and boss battles much easier.

About Coven

Generally, having more attackers is advantageous, but powerful Donum-enabled Soul Binding Books often have limitations on the number of attackers.

However, even so, it seems better to form a coven centered around Donum.

And I think it's essential to have one coven each for the tank role, the offensive Donum role, and the healing Donum role, all within the Pierfortress formation.

When a tank uses a defensive formation, the probability of them protecting the other members increases.
For the remaining two slots, you can flexibly fill them with support, physical attack, healing, or offensive types, depending on the situation.

I don't think you'll need healing items in battles against weaker enemies.

To put it in extreme terms, having two covens with only Piafoe and three covens with only Marginal Maze would be perfectly sufficient.
However, that might be rather bland.

About the final boss

Although obtaining the Great Sage's Soul Pact Book is a prerequisite, I was able to achieve victory.
The attack was quite fierce, so we didn't want to be outdone and continued to burn with our White Rose Coven, which was composed entirely of Marginal Maze cards.

Also, the healer kept healing non-stop, which allowed us to barely manage to win.
Since no soul transfer had been performed, all the members had single-digit Anima Clarity levels.
If I had done it more diligently, I might have won easily.

Other hidden bosses

D.E. Machina, Pecoro, Emperor Juno, and Devon can be defeated by protecting them with Piafo and burning them with Marginal Maze.
However, things are not so easy for the Great Demon King Furfur and the Evil Ones.

For Furfur, wait 5-6 times for its resistance to decrease with weakening magic, then unleash a full-scale attack.
Attacks during critical situations can be quite severe, including instant-kill attacks on the entire party, so be sure to revive your characters as quickly as possible.
Since they'll die soon anyway, there's no need to fully heal them; just being alive is enough.

It is recommended to defeat Ashikimono in Pandemonium after defeating Furfur.

As long as you're careful about physical attacks and protect yourself properly, they're not that scary of an opponent.

If there is a boss among these hidden bosses that you find particularly difficultIf you change the difficulty level to "easy," the battle becomes much easier.

Currently working on clearing the EX dungeon.

I'm currently working on clearing the extra dungeon.
The story itself is what you might call the true route, so it's quite interesting.

However, since combat and exploration are mostly resolved with Marginal Maze Donums, it honestly gets a bit repetitive.

However, I'm almost at the point of completely clearing the game, so I'm going to try my best to get there.
