self-introduction
Hello, my name is losspass.
I work as a company employee and write a blog as a hobby.
My username is borrowed from a place name that appears in my favorite PS2 game, "Flowers, Sun, and Rain."
I like the spelling because it's easy to remember, and I also like the sound and appearance of the word.

The reason I decided to start a blog
There are two reasons why I decided to start a blog.
Firstly, I enjoy the fact that my experiences can be helpful to someone.
For example, I started playing amateur baseball as an adult, without any prior baseball experience.
I think there are many people in the world who are like me.
I hope that by sharing my experiences with those people, I can help them enjoy baseball in the same way.
(This content is not for people who have been playing baseball since childhood, but rather for those who started playing as adults.)
Articles about baseball, as well as articles about mahjong and video games, serve a similar purpose.
And secondly, writing a blog helps me organize my own thoughts.
I think we all have different opinions about everyday events and occurrences.
By putting those vague thoughts into writing and outputting them, you can consciously explore and delve deeper into them.
Writing blog posts helps me become aware of my own thoughts that I hadn't noticed before, and it increases the clarity of my thinking.
Furthermore, looking back at articles I've written in the past allows me to reflect on my own thoughts.
I believe that the process of organizing one's thoughts and giving them some form is quite useful in everyday life.
For these reasons, I decided to continue writing my blog.
I enjoy writing consistently, and I intend to continue doing so.
I'll also explain the reason for displaying the advertisement.
The main reason is to cover the running costs of server rental fees.
I originally wrote various things on a free blogging service.
However, with free blogging services, you never know when they might shut down, and WordPress offers more flexibility, so I decided to migrate to WordPress even though it would cost more.
Also, since I spend a fair amount of time on my blog, I sometimes need a plausible excuse to tell my family, "I'm earning a little bit of advertising revenue from it."
That's why, even when I'm playing my favorite games, I sometimes use the excuse, "I need this to write an article" (which could be considered putting the cart before the horse).
Basically, I prioritize "writing articles I want to write," so I never write promotional articles that I don't want to write.
If I were to write about a product, it would only be about something I genuinely found useful, or something I hope would be helpful to people who are considering buying it.

About baseball
For me, baseball is both a hobby and a form of entertainment.
I wasn't really involved in any major sports clubs during my school days; I was more into cultural activities.
However, after Manager Ochiai took over as manager of the Chunichi Dragons in 2004, I started watching baseball broadcasts more regularly.
My interest in Manager Ochiai began because my eccentric father often said, "Ochiai is amazing."
I remember being intrigued by this Ochiai person, wondering what kind of person he was to make my eccentric father say something like that.
Then I started watching baseball games, and gradually I began to want to play myself.
As soon as I became a working adult, I joined a recreational baseball club, and despite being a complete beginner, I worked hard at practice and was able to improve.
Since I didn't have much experience in sports clubs, the feeling of improving myself was a new experience, and I got quite hooked.
It's good exercise, and I continue to do it as a way to relieve stress.
In this blog, I've written various articles about amateur baseball for other beginners like myself.
I hope this will be of some help to those who want to improve their skills.

About the game
I've always loved video games.
During the Famicom era, games like Dragon Quest, Knight Gundam Story, and the Dragon Ball series (Assault of the Saiyans, Shockwaves of Freeza) were popular.I remember playing a lot of RPGs.
Later, on the Super Famicom, Square's famous RPGs such as the Final Fantasy series and Romancing SaGa series, as well as games like Kamaitachi no Yoru, were released.I had my first encounter with sound novels.
Games I played around that time, such as Secret of Mana 2, Live A Live, Hanjuku Hero, and Chrono Trigger, are still vividly etched in my memory.
Also, when I played Fire Emblem for the first time,Simulation RPGIt was around this time that I learned about that genre.
On the PlayStation 1, I played a wide variety of games, including RPGs (such as the Final Fantasy series), simulation RPGs (such as Super Robot Wars, G Generation, Gihren's Ambition, Final Fantasy Tactics, and TearRing Saga), as well as survival horror games like the Resident Evil series and Goichi Suda's "The Silver Case."
Even on a PCADV games and free softwareThere were so many interesting games like these, so I think I played a lot of them before I became a working adult.
Thanks to recommendations from my friends, I played a truly massive number of visual novels on my PC.
There are many games that I have a strong attachment to, and I can't list them all here.
The game articles featured on this blog areMy tastes tend to be heavily skewed towards RPGs, SRPGs, and adventure games, which are my favorite genres.
I mainly introduce games that I found fun to play.
For games where I couldn't find any walkthroughs online, I sometimes post them hoping they'll be helpful to someone.
The articles I review tend to focus on free games.
I strongly want many people to know that there are so many fun games out there that are available for free.
There's nothing that would make me happier than knowing that many people are playing the game, as it will motivate the creators and encourage them to make new games.

About Mahjong
I first learned about mahjong when I was in upper elementary school and got to play games on the Famicom and Super Famicom that my parents had won.
Back then, I was just playing around without really understanding the rules.
However, once I started playing mahjong with friends during my university years, I began to seriously learn the rules and play the game.
Because I was fairly competitive, I bought books to learn on my own and played online mahjong on "Tofuso."
Since being impressed by Totsugeki Tohoku's "Scientific Mahjong," I've come to appreciate the fun of mahjong even more and grown to love it even more.
Most of the content I write on my blog is about the online mahjong game "Tenhou".
Since I'm still learning myself, all I can do is write articles for beginners and share my own struggles as I aim for higher levels.
However, I would be happy if people who are working hard in a similar way read my articles and find some kind of hint or relatable insight.
As long as I'm striving to reach a higher rank, I intend to continue writing articles.

About music
Regarding music, I mainly listen to songs by female artists, anime songs, game music, and classical music.
This blog mostly features recommendations for songs by my favorite artists and suggestions for piano solo sheet music.
I took piano lessons from a young age until I entered university, so I'm thinking about writing an article about it.
There was a time when I was really into composing music on my PC, but I don't do it anymore.
Back then, I used to think things like, "I'm so cool for composing music!" and I think I was constantly comparing my work to others and feeling depressed.
Even so, I think it was a good experience because I was happy when I occasionally created a song that I could be proud of.

About manga
Since I was little, I always started by reading the manga my parents had bought and kept at home.
When I was in elementary school, I think I read a lot of manga, mainly works by Osamu Tezuka, such as "Phoenix" and "Black Jack," as well as works from Weekly Shonen Jump.
After that, from middle school through university, I started reading a wide range of genres, and I feel like my preferences shifted from boys' magazines to mainly seinen magazines.
With the spread of e-books and the increased access to a wider variety of manga, my reading interests have expanded again.
My preference is for manga that are more about physical battles.I like works where deception is the main theme, as well as comedy and medical-themed works.
Also, perhaps due to my love of simulation RPGs,I also really like war chronicles from around the Middle Ages.
Currently, this blog features manga about death games and historical manga set in the Middle Ages.
Recommended and not recommended death game-themed worksRecommended manga: War, history, and medieval themes

About work
I work as a company employee.
Occasionally, I write complaints or rants in the "Work" category of my blog as a way to vent my stress.
In addition, I organize my own thoughts by compiling the knowledge and skills I've gained through my work into articles.
I've also experienced quitting my job and changing careers, so I've written articles about those experiences as well.
