夢幻探求INNOCENT×DREAM(フリーRPG)紹介・感想・攻略メモ game
This post can be read in about 6 minutes.

I completed "Mugen Tankyuu INNOCENT×DREAM," a dungeon RPG made with RPG Maker MV.
This is a roguelike dungeon RPG with a casual atmosphere that allows for quick and easy gameplay.
It was simple and fun, so I thought I'd write an introduction, my impressions, and some strategy notes.

The completion time is approximately 12 hours.

Game Overview/Introduction

This RPG features a slightly cyberpunk world setting.
There's hardly any story; the gameplay mainly involves exploring dungeons to earn "achievement points," items, and money, and strengthening your party.
By using achievement points, new dungeons will be unlocked.
The gameplay is simple, but because there's no unnecessary story, you can really immerse yourself in the gameplay.

battle

The battles are fought in a side-view format where the turn order is determined by agility.

Many techniques consume "spirit" at the same time as EN.
Your stamina increases primarily by attacking enemies.
When you move to a different floor, your stamina is reset to zero, so if you're going to challenge a tough enemy, you'll have a hard time unless you build up your stamina by fighting weaker enemies first.

map

As you can see, the map has a simple structure.
Enemies have indicators above their heads such as "Regular Enemy" or "Boss," making them easy to distinguish.
Furthermore, random events occur as you descend into the dungeon, ensuring that the game remains engaging and prevents boredom.

A distinctive system

Body regeneration

One of the distinctive features of the system is "body regeneration."

At the beginning, you can choose the occupation type of the protagonist and heroine.
However, from that point on, you'll need an item called a "base doll" to add new companions.

This item is a valuable possession that can be obtained by clearing dungeons, and bringing it to the base body regeneration lab will increase your number of companions.
It's a system similar to a gacha (loot box) system, where the character you get is random.

Sometimes you'll get magic-using characters, and sometimes thief-type characters, so the party balance can often be poor in the early stages.
That's part of what makes it interesting.
If you end up with duplicate characters, they will be converted into achievement points, so they won't go to waste.

The combat party consists of 5 members, but you can change members during dungeon exploration and combat.
I haven't tested the maximum number of people you can stock, but in my case, I had as many as 21 members when I cleared the game.
Even if they don't participate in combat, they still gain experience points just like the participating members, so they will level up steadily.

Classes and Skills

Characters can change classes.
The system is similar to that of "Final Fantasy V" or "Final Fantasy Tactics."
You can earn something called "JP" by fighting in battles.
You will use this JP to acquire the skills for that class.
However, be aware that characters who do not participate in combat will earn less JP.
Skills you've acquired can be used even if you switch to a different class, as long as you set your skills accordingly.
Furthermore, the more you use that class, the more likely you are to be able to switch to higher-level classes.
Furthermore, some classes can only be changed after leveling up multiple classes.

However, there are two points to note regarding class changes.
The first point is that each character has a predetermined class change path.
If you've decided on a "thief" class, you can change it to classes like Hunter, Wanderer, or Agent, but you cannot change it to "warrior" classes like Gladiator or Barbarian.
Let's hope that when we regenerate the base body, we can gather companions from as many different lineages as possible.

The second point to note is that a character's level depends on their class.
Class changes are generally free, but when you switch to a new class, your level will start from 1.
However, if you return to the previous class, you will return to the level you achieved in that class.
When a character reaches level 1, their HP and other stats become quite low, so it becomes necessary to raise them by keeping them as reserve members.
Since the main character cannot be removed from the party, you must be careful immediately after class change.

Game flow

I've introduced various aspects, but the game flow is as follows (example):

Returning from the dungeon

Simply returning from the dungeon will fully heal your party.

Appraise unappraised items

Most items obtained in dungeons are unidentified.
It cannot be used as is, so let's have it appraised at a shop.

Replenish recovery items, dispose of unnecessary items, etc.

Healing items can be surprisingly useful, so make sure to stock up on them.

Report any completed requests and receive your reward.

Whether you received a request beforehand or not, you can acquire it immediately if you have completed the task.
If it's too much trouble, it's best to accept all the benefits you're entitled to.

If the base model can be regenerated, regenerate it.

There are no particular disadvantages to having many friends.
If you have any doll bodies that can be restored, restore them all.

The number of allies directly translates to fighting strength.

Do this if you have a character who is at the right time to class change.

Once you've learned all the skills available in that class, you should switch to a different class.
While simply leveling up isn't entirely pointless, acquiring skills from higher classes or other classes will make you stronger.

Use achievement points to unlock the next dungeon.

You can earn achievement points by conquering dungeons, defeating wanted enemies, completing quests, and more.
If you can now unlock new dungeons, let's challenge them one after another.

Going to explore a dungeon

Once you've finished all of the above, let's attack the dungeon again.
Basically, the game progresses by repeating these steps.

Strategy Notes

You might struggle in the early stages because you won't have enough troops to field a full force.
However, if you have a bandage, you won't have any trouble finding a way to recover.
Overall, I think the difficulty level is such that you won't get stuck.
For bosses that use powerful area-of-effect magic, you can make the fight much easier by using elemental resistance accessories and defensive magic.

Useful techniques and magic in battle are those that have the effects of area-of-effect attacks, area-of-effect healing, and area-of-effect defense buffs.
Particularly useful were the Spin Kick (area-of-effect attack) obtainable in the Martial Artist class, and the multi-hit attacks Gatling Blow and Thousand Knuckles.
With high agility, you can wipe out weaker enemies with a spin kick, and defeat most bosses with a Thousand Knuckle after charging up your power.
Due to the extremely powerful nature of critical hits, skills and equipment that increase the critical hit rate are very effective.
Critical hits can still occur even among multi-hit techniques.

The most useful skills for overall healing were those used by idol-type characters.
Positive Song provides overall healing and regeneration, while Healing Ballad restores overall EN.
Furthermore, the Brilliant Tribe, which you can ultimately acquire, is very useful as it simultaneously increases the attack, magic power, and spirit of all your party members.

While it might not be sufficient as a main healer, it can be very useful as a secondary healer in long battles.

Additionally, for overall defense, cleric-type classes are a reliable choice.
While early-game abilities like Protect are useful, ultimately, Fortress Barrier, which increases everyone's defense and magic defense, and Elemental Field, which increases elemental attack and magic defense, leave no room for weakness.

The area-of-effect healing ability, Heal Wind, is simply convenient, and as a dedicated healer, it's unparalleled in terms of performance.

In my case, as long as I had these three people in my party, I could fight stably with any other members.
In the later dungeons, there are dungeons where special abilities are prohibited and dungeons where magic is prohibited.
To be able to handle each situation, make sure to develop both magic and physical characters in a balanced way.
