This article is about "The Lineage of the Demon Race," an indie SRPG game created using SRPG Studio.
I haven't featured many R18 titles on this blog, but I decided to introduce this one because I found it interesting as an SRPG.
I intend to focus solely on the gameplay aspects of this simulation RPG in this article.
My completion time on normal difficulty was approximately 15 hours.
(I bought it during a sale, so I was able to get it for half price, 1045 yen.)
A trial version is available, so if you're interested, why not download it?The Lineage of the Demon Race (DLsite sales page)If you purchase through this link, I will receive a small commission.

Game Overview

This is a story set in an era when the hero and the demon lord have defeated each other, and people are enjoying peace.
As one of the few surviving demons, the Demon Lord must have many children in order to ensure the survival of the demon race.
Maou-sama is a pacifist who desires coexistence with humans, so she will integrate into human society in a way that allows her to blend in.
However, someone who harbors a grudge against the demons tries to sow discord between humans and demons, attempting to draw the Demon Lord and his allies into the conflict.
While the series features many sharp and witty comedic moments, its main focus is a serious yet heartwarming story about war.
The gameplay itself is well-made, and I think even hardcore players will be satisfied.
Below, I will explain the general characteristics of the work.
• A large group of friends, each with their own unique personality
Initially, the Demon Lord's army is small, but as the Demon Lord's children are born and humans and demons join the group, the number of members grows steadily.
Since most maps require all players to participate, you'll get a real sense of your fighting force improving as your numbers increase.
However, on large maps, moving units might feel a bit cumbersome.
• Abundant skills and customization

In this game, in addition to the skills that units inherently possess, there are also skills that can be acquired by possessing special items.
You can obtain them by defeating enemies or finding them in treasure chests, but you can also buy them at shops.
Various synergistic effects can be obtained by combining units and skills.
Depending on the player's ideas, units can be customized with various abilities.
Enjoy the synergistic effects between skills and units, such as giving flying units a natural regeneration skill, or giving units that can use swords and bows a skill that allows them to choose their weapon when counterattacking.
• Maps with a challenging difficulty level

This game offers three difficulty levels to choose from.
For those familiar with SRPGs, I recommend playing on Normal difficulty.
The difficulty level is average to slightly difficult, and I think it will be difficult to clear without thinking things through.
Furthermore, there are bonuses that can be earned by achieving challenging objectives, so I think even skilled players will find it satisfying.
By the way, you can save at the start of each turn, and there is no character loss.
However, since each injured character incurs a basic treatment cost of 2000G, you need to try to prevent them from being defeated as much as possible.
In the final stages of the game, maps designed for earning money will also appear.
The later stages are difficult, but if you train your units on the farming maps, you shouldn't get stuck.
Graphics and BGM

Character portraits and standing poses are rendered in a low-resolution, pixel-art style.
Perhaps to maintain a consistent aesthetic, the default character graphics in "SRPG Studio" have also been reduced to a similar resolution.
The event CGs are created using standard, beautiful graphics.
Regarding the background music, I feel that many catchy and memorable songs are used.
The background music during tactical map sequences is an upbeat jazz-style tune, perfectly capturing the lighthearted and poppy atmosphere.
On the other hand, serious scenes feature tense background music, showing a thoughtful attention to detail.
Review (no spoilers)
I was able to complete the game on normal difficulty.
As a simulation RPG, it's well-made, and I feel I got more than my money's worth in terms of enjoyment.
The story section had a substantial amount of text and was quite engaging.
The comedic timing, with its sharp wit and quick-witted retorts, resulted in many exchanges that made me burst out laughing.
The second half of the story became increasingly serious, making me eager to find out what happens next.
The diverse and unique characters are vividly portrayed, and I personally enjoyed it very much.
I was very satisfied with the gameplay as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the fundamental fun of SRPGs, such as raising and strengthening newly joined party members.
I was simply happy to gain more allies through the side quests, as it increased the number of members I could deploy in the main story, making things easier.
In games where you can't deploy all your characters, you often have to worry about narrowing down your team, but this game didn't have that problem, which I personally liked.
Also, I enjoyed being able to give units many skills and customize them.
If I had to nitpick, since many units can use multiple types of weapons, I would have liked a slightly larger inventory slot.
As you acquire more items, you'll gain access to even more skills, which might make the game too easy.
Even setting aside the R18 elements, it was an enjoyable SRPG.
Walkthrough (contains spoilers)
Prologue: The Demon Lord Army Begins!
Elfi's bow is convenient with its range of 4-7, but it breaks easily if used too much.
You can obtain the "Dangerous Bow" before starting the next map, but be careful not to destroy it, as it will reduce your attack options until then.
Chapter 1: The Village War
The treasure chest on the cliff immediately to the left of your starting position will sink into the water at the start of turn 2, so you won't be able to get it right away.
The rain will stop on the 10th turn, and you will be able to obtain it.
Due to the event, if you don't move Elfi to the position of the blue sphere at the bottom of the screen by the specified turn, she will be injured and forced to leave the game.
Let's make it so that it can be moved quickly.
If you wait on top of the vegetables in the field, you can recover health each turn.
It's convenient to use if needed.
If you enter the village in the upper left, you can obtain an estoc.
Chapter 2: The Great Demon Beast Attack!!
If you defend the tower and refrain from attacking Behemoth, you should be able to defeat it without too much trouble.
Let's gradually inflict damage with Elfi's indirect attacks.
Let's have Baal retrieve the treasure chest located behind the enemy.
Apparently, once you reduce Behemoth's HP to a certain point, it tries to go to the back to heal, but in my case, it didn't retreat and kept attacking me the whole time.
It's unclear whether this is a feature or not.
Chapter 3: The Labyrinth of Time and Space
Irina starts out isolated.
However, the enemies aren't that strong, so if you heal with medicinal herbs as you go, you shouldn't have too much trouble.
The main force should be fine as long as they are careful to keep their flying units out of the shooters' attack range.
Be careful not to defeat all the enemies before collecting the treasure chest.
Chapter 4: Riad's Melancholy
The story begins with Riyadh in isolation.
Instead of initiating an attack, stay put in a tree where the terrain offers a significant advantage.
It's best to give the flying character Baal a healing role and then hand him over to Riyad.
A timed event will occur requiring you to move Irina to a designated location within a limited number of turns, so it's a good idea to send her ahead early.
If you get poisoned by an enemy, you can use the scallions you find on the map to heal yourself.
The poison inflicts 5 points of damage each turn, so be careful.
Chapter 5: The Strongest Guild Attacks!!

The shooters above are troublesome, so fighting in the center is not recommended.
Quickly take out the shooter on the south side, then intercept them at the bridge below.
While we buy some time, we send Baal to retrieve the treasure chest in the upper right.
The treasure chest in the upper right contains the skill "Meteor Stance" (attacks 3 times with a certain percentage of skill).
It's a good idea to intercept them on the bridge, but if the bees block the bridge's exit, the enemy's large number of healers will heal the bees.
Before engaging the bees, make sure to secure an escape route so you can cross the bridge after defeating the enemies.
Using an elven bow or bringing back Baal would allow you to defeat the healer, but it would take time.
Even when attacking with a sword that is well-suited to it, bees are formidable opponents because they can reduce the damage they inflict through their skills.
Let's whittle them down with Riyad's magic-based indirect attacks.
If Temptation is activated, it will incapacitate the enemy for about 3 turns, making it much easier to defeat.
Let's take advantage of Alvina's ability to act again and actively target them.
Chapter 6: Searching for Diene
Since Irina and Maou-sama are ahead, let's have a healer.
Let's not attack Diene prematurely and instead wait until we can reunite with the other two.
Irina should be careful, because if she carelessly messes with the squids around Dine, she might get attacked in return.
The main force will proceed after defeating the Death Tree.
It has high HP and is tough, but with Riad's magic and Alvina's extra actions, you should be able to defeat it relatively quickly.
As the turns progress, reinforcements such as squids and wyverns will appear.
Since Diene and her group are in danger, the main force should not be complacent and should move south as soon as possible.
The treasure chest on the cliff to the left contains a Stone Tablet of Strength (Strength growth rate +15%).
Examining the tomb to the right of your starting position will increase your magic power by 1.
In the bottom left corner, there is a skill called "Aim" (which permanently increases hit rate by 5%).
Chapter 7: Hatred
If you want to clear it quickly, take the route on the right; if you want to aim for the bonus, take the route on the left.
The main obstacles are the shooters and bards, so it will take some time, but once you've used up all their weapons, you can easily go and press the switch.
The saving grace is that neither the shooters nor the bards have particularly high attack power.
Since a shooter's uses don't decrease if they dodge an attack, you can efficiently take damage by having Iyo wait in an area with terrain effects that reduce dodge rate.
If you press the three switches, you will fight against Garm and his group.
Garm are very agile and prone to pursuing you, so be careful and fight them one by one.
When you get close to the boss, the drunkard guarding the entrance will come towards you, but just ignore him and defeat the boss.
The treasure chest in the bottom right contains the "Defensive Command" skill (Allies within 3 spaces: Defense +1, Evasion & Critical Hit Evasion +10).
Either have Baal pick it up right before clearing the stage, or give him a skill that allows him to move again to retrieve it.
If you clear the stage without defeating a single villager, you will receive the "Sun Crystal" (Learn the Sun skill) and the "☆ Throwing Spear" (Unbreakable).
QA1 Guardian of the Earth
When you approach the boss, Tenmus, two pterosaurs will appear and immediately begin to act, so be careful.
However, Tenmus isn't that strong, so you can easily defeat him by attacking him all at once with magic or something similar.
After clearing the game, Tenmus will join your party.
Since there are few units that can use axes, this will be a good addition to the army.
QA2 Let's Treasure!
Since Elfi starts out isolated, make sure she has some healing items.
If Elfi is defeated, you will lose the game.
Instead of trying to defeat all the surrounding enemies at once, wait in a location where you can take advantage of the terrain's tree effect.
This map has a lot of treasure chests, so make sure to collect them all before you defeat all the enemies.
QA3 Exposure in the other world
The route splits into two paths, left and right.
There aren't any particularly strong enemies, so splitting into two groups shouldn't be a problem.
If you're heading to retrieve the smartphone, you should be able to do so without any problems by having Irina take the right-hand route.
QA4 Those who have returned from the underworld
We will proceed in three separate units.
The member on the left will likely be poisoned by the cauliflower, so be sure to prepare poison-recovering items such as green onions.
On the third turn, Elfi will appear slightly above the center.
There aren't many enemies in this area, but be careful so you can get help quickly.
To unlock the path to the bones needed to complete the game, you must investigate three locations and unlock them.
The first is the dragon's head in the bottom right of the map, the second is the armor next to the treasure chest in the bottom left, and the third is the fire on the wall in the top right.
Investigating will open the door to finding bones.
If you have Shota and Maou-sama talk, after the event, you will be given the option to pay 10,000 G or refuse.
If you refuse, a fairly tough Behemoth will appear, but if you defeat it you will obtain the skill "Super Strength" (Strength +2).
Defeating them would likely be more advantageous.
QA5 Let's play in town
This map is designed so that you cannot save your progress.
The events you should definitely keep an eye on are the events at the three brothels and the event where Iyo collects two oranges.
Since you get paid for it, it's definitely something you should do.
One item you absolutely must buy at auction is a military strategist's staff (a staff for fast horsemen).
Because it can be sold for a high price, you'll definitely make money even if you don't use it.
While its defensive skills are a bit high, its hardening ability (defense +2) is also easy to use.
☆My weapons are a masterful naginata and a lizard radish.
☆While it's desirable to acquire weapons, it's okay to skip them if you're short on money.
The strange medicine is a capsule that raises your level by 1, the departure set is a collection of recovery items, and the used sheet music set is Deena's instrument.
The arena is a bit scary because you can be easily defeated depending on how strong your opponent is.
Once you've enjoyed it to a reasonable extent, go ahead and finish it.
Chapter 8 Port
This map is difficult to navigate due to the large number of enemies.
There's no harm in taking your time, so let's proceed carefully, even if it's a bit of a hassle.
Buying long-range weapons like Tornado or Meteor Strike from the shop will make things much easier.
You can also obtain it from treasure chests on this map, but it's easier to buy it from a shop beforehand.
Once the pirates enter your range, they will move freely across the sea and approach you.
Let's lure them in little by little with our vanguard units and then engage them in battle.
You'll want to take down the shooter quickly, but be careful, as it's dangerous to do so without clearing out some of the surrounding pirates first.
It would be extremely difficult if Diene were defeated.
The pirate leader won't move on his own, so don't worry about him too much and fight at your own timing.
Since the critical hit rate is high, it's important to save frequently and be careful not to make any mistakes.
QA6 Training Center
This map can be challenged multiple times by paying 3000G.
Even if you have the Monster Hunter skills, you won't earn money, so be aware that you can't challenge indefinitely.
QA7 Go to Amazon!
The fairies' status-altering attacks are extremely troublesome, so be sure to prepare a way to cure status ailments.
Since the person affected by the debuff is often unable to use items, having a Dispel Staff or a Lock Sheet Music is extremely useful.
Now, since fairies are especially vulnerable to bow attacks, it's most efficient to have Nakigaran or Elfi attack with longbows.
Don't hesitate to use Tornado and Meteor Strike, which have a range of 3 or more, and try to eliminate them without getting too close.
Similarly, if you use a longbow on the boss Yako, you can charge in and defeat her unilaterally.
Chapter 9: The Empire's Blade
This is a map where you must defend for 10 turns.
The following chapters will feature maps where you cannot shop in the preparation screen, so it's a good idea to stock up on plenty of supplies beforehand.
This map will be quite challenging if your vanguard units aren't properly leveled up.
Give healing items to your front-line units, and if the healer units can't heal them in time, have them heal themselves.
Having Diene hold the sheet music for the ballad allows her to heal everyone at once, which is very useful in critical situations.
The enemy to the north will mainly consist of cavalry units.
Line up three vanguard units and defend.
The Hyper Lance, used for close-range attacks, hurts quite a bit, but the thrown spear doesn't hurt nearly as much.
Give them weapons that can be used both at close range and at close range, so they can wear down the enemy with counterattacks.
The eastern side mainly consists of armored enemies.
The northern side is slightly easier, so it would be a good idea to allocate more people to the north.
The Dragon Knight will primarily target only the Demon Lord in front of the castle gate, so it will ignore other units even if they enter its attack range.
Have units that can equip bows, such as Nakigaran, Elfi, and Yako, stick close to the enemy and pursue them all the way to the castle gate.
Because he is equipped with an axe, his attack power is relatively high, but since the Demon Lord is equipped with a sword, which is advantageous, even if he misses some shots, a few of them are not a threat.
On turn 6, many Dragon Knights will appear inside.
The reinforcements are equipped with throwing javelins on the west side and throwing axes on the south side, so if you attack with bows, you will be counterattacked unless your range is 3.
Be careful.
On turn 9, A-tan will appear right below the castle!
A-tan! will attack the nearest, easily defeated enemy, so create a wall with tough members to restrict its movement.
If you have skills that increase defense, such as defensive command, use them to defend your position.
It's inevitable that some units will get injured, but be careful not to let units that are expensive to treat (like Nakigaran and Yako) get defeated.
Chapter 10: Pulsating Life
This is a challenging map where the objective is to defend for 15 turns.
The beginning is especially busy and challenging.
If there aren't enough vanguards to defend the front line, it may be necessary to defend by retreating slightly.
If you don't have enough troops to deploy at the top of the stairs, you may need to defeat them with indirect attacks from below.
After overcoming the first wave, we'll go and defeat the general, the commander of a thousand men.
Before that, let's take care of the shooters on the left and right.
Trying to reach the mage who uses Meteor Strike would be going too far, so press the switch to close the gate, then go down the stairs that appear and rejoin the central unit.
After that, prepare to deal with the reinforcements that will arrive on turn 10, which will be explained later.
At the start of turn 4, Diene will sing a song, and everyone's HP will recover slightly.
On the 10th turn, a Dragon Knight will appear from above the magic circle.
Alvina will give you instructions two turns before she appears, but be aware that if you have moved your defense line south, you will need to move it back quite a distance.
All the Dragoons are equipped with Javelins and will counterattack against bows.
Furthermore, the centurion has a skill that ignores special attacks, making him somewhat difficult to defeat.
Use the three-square width of the stairs to your advantage and intercept them effectively.
QA8 Let's play in town
The brothel events pay money, so make sure to complete them for all three characters.
The "☆Destructive Soul Hunter" sword, which can be obtained by having Marun enter the stall, lowers the abilities of everyone except the owner, but it is extremely powerful.
It's difficult to find the right situation to use it effectively, but it can be useful in situations where other units aren't fighting, or against the boss of that map.
Using this in the arena on this map is also very effective.
If you give her lots of skills and also utilize Alvina's ability to act again, I think you can raise her level quite a bit while earning money.

(The moment of certainty of victory)
The high-quality axe you can get at auction is the "☆Tamahagane Axe," which is extremely useful.
You should definitely buy it.
The spellbook is "☆Wind Blade," so its power might be a little underwhelming.
QA10 A trip for a cute girl
Since Lord Mao's children are absent, and the unit will be divided into three groups, there may be a shortage of healers in some areas.
Make sure you have plenty of healing items ready before you go into battle.
Since we don't have the flying units Baal and Maria, I think we'll need the fairy Yako to collect the items on the isolated island.
Be careful not to get knocked down.
Let's start by actively intercepting any enemies that are advancing towards us.
If you advance cautiously and avoid engaging large numbers of enemies at once, this map is not difficult.
Penniflower's poison is troublesome, so it's best to use units with skills that prevent bad status effects to whittle it down.
The magic crystal, which is required to clear the level, can be found on the glowing floor near the crystal object on the map.
Be careful not to clear the game before collecting all the treasures.
QA11 The wonders of the giant anteater
This map involves taking 12 damage each turn due to the heat of the magma.
Warning messages will appear, but be careful not to get stuck.
Having the sheet music for Diene's Ballad ready will reduce the number of healing actions needed, but considering the battle with the giant anteater, that alone probably won't be enough.
Since the giant anteater's weapon is treated as a spear, if Irina has undergone a class change, giving her an axe will make the battle a little easier.
If you can flip the switch on the left, you won't take damage every turn, so let's hurry there first.
Giant anteaters themselves are not to be underestimated, so be careful not to get attacked by multiple of them.
QA12 Sand that covers the gold
This map contains various hidden items.
The details are written on the signpost, so let's explore using only flying and walking units.
When you stand on something, the "Investigate" command will appear.
Even in places not marked on signs, you can often find money by examining the bones.
The only skill whose location isn't written on the signpost, "Master of Movement," can be obtained to the left of the tree near the center right.

At the central watering hole, you can pay 5000G to restore your HP and receive a Potion of Strength.
Since this can only be used if your HP is low, be careful, as you might not be able to trigger the event if you defeat all the enemies first.
The secret shop sells the "☆Hyper Lance," so you'll want to buy it there.
There are many other weapons you won't want to miss, such as the gold nugget in the bottom left and the star-shaped weapons that can be found in multiples in the grassland in the bottom right.
QA13 Slime VS Demon
This training ground map can be used repeatedly.
The Green Slime is level 20 and can use Monster Hunter skills.
Therefore, unlocking this quest effectively allows you to earn unlimited money and experience points.
This map is effective for leveling up units that you haven't been training yet.
If you equip the unit you want to train with a ☆ weapon, the Monster Hunter skill, and items that increase growth rate, and then throw them into battle, you should be able to level them up efficiently.
Chapter 11: M-Tuna Hunting!
We will divide the enemy forces into two groups: the upper right unit and the upper left unit.
There's a lot to do, but be careful because the level is cleared once you've defeated all the tuna.
I think the last tuna we'll have left will be the one under the tree in the middle.
Initially, both units will likely be busy dealing with the incoming tuna.
Use the corners of the screen to create walls and prevent weaker units from being defeated.
Since its attack speed is fairly high, I'll be careful not to get hit by a follow-up attack.
If you defeat a tuna using the Monster Hunter skill, you can obtain 2000G per tuna.
You can earn more by giving it to the unit that delivers the final blow.
Let's leave the island surrounded by shallow waters to the north to Maria and Bar.
If you carefully take them down little by little, starting from the edges, you should be able to complete the challenge.
In the central treasure chest is a powerful melee and ranged weapon called "☆Sky Spear Lapital".
The fairy island in the bottom right is troublesome because of the fairies wielding the Bow of Chaos.
Either use flying units with Mana's Blessing to break through their defenses, or equip Yako with a Longbow and gradually take them down.
It's useful to have a sheet music for Lock that can heal status ailments from distant units.
In the central area, you can obtain the "☆Oberon's Sword".
The "Wave of Life" skill is excellent because it restores 5 HP to allied units within 2 spaces of the unit possessing it every turn.
The giant squid is a formidable opponent, but since it doesn't move, you won't get hit if you attack it from a range of 3.
Give Maria the Tornado and use the "Mana Release" skill to enhance her magic power while attacking.
If the "Moody" skill is activated, some additional damage will be dealt.
If you purchase a Tornado beforehand and attack patiently, you should be able to defeat it.
Once you obtain the treasure chest beneath the giant squid, Alvina will learn the "Leader" skill (adjacent allies gain 1.25 times more experience points, and attack power +1).
Chapter 12: Darkness Lurking Within Darkness
At the start of each turn, a random friendly unit will take approximately 20 damage due to "Ambush Kunai".
There are many other traps set, so make sure to fully heal any damaged units as you proceed.
Since Kenmohororo is treated as a flying unit, it's easiest to defeat by attacking it with a bow that has a special attack bonus.
- Flamethrower

It activated when I waited in this narrow passageway, and I took 35 damage.
- Trap of confusion

Opening the treasure chest slightly to the upper left of the boss will give you 12,000G, but it will leave you confused.
- Call for allies & Mimic

If you open the rightmost of the two treasure chests lined up in the upper left, you will get 7000G, but three fairies will appear around you.
The treasure chest on the left is a mimic; you can obtain a ☆Great Lightning Orb from it, but I took 35 damage.
・Rockfall

I took 35 damage by waiting on the narrow path shown in the image.
・ Bear
If you stand on top of the bear doll in the bottom left, you will take 41 damage.
Rose will be disgusted with you.
- Cat killer
If you stand on the plant above the boss, you will take 35 damage.
• Switch (top right)
Operating this switch will inflict 40 damage.
You don't need to operate this switch to unlock the boss's room.
Shota
If you talk to the young boy in the boss's room and choose to help him, you will obtain the "Lucky Seven" skill.
Be careful, as this skill item will negatively affect the accuracy, evasion, critical hit evasion, and defense of all your allies.
・Big explosion

Even if you manage to defeat the rose that bloomed in the darkness, a "big explosion" will occur, and all your allies will take around 35 damage.
I don't know if there's a way for Maou-sama to survive, but in my case, it always ended in a game over.
November 2021Addendum: The big explosion in Chapter 12 occurs when you are adjacent to Rose, so if you defeat her with one space between you, it will not trigger. (Information provided by Ham-sama)
Chapter 13 Palm
This is a very challenging map.
This map is divided into two groups: one in the north and the other in the south.
It's helpful to place flying units and units that can use bows on both sides.
Horse Man becomes exceptionally strong as turns pass and his HP decreases.
Fortunately, it can only be attacked directly, so after chipping away at its health, try to stay away and finish it off.
It's helpful to have units that can push through the numerous reinforcements on the north side, as well as units that can perform long-range attacks (such as Elfi, Yako, and Diene).
Send Alvina to the north as well, prioritizing the elimination of enemies capable of long-range attacks.
The enemy's long-range attack, "Snow Falling Down," is a weapon that will stun the target with 100% certainty upon hit.
Prepare plenty of Dispel Wands and Lock Sheet Music so you can quickly remove the debuff.
Occasionally, landmines (dealing around 30 damage) are planted along the road, so be careful of unexpected explosions.
On the south side, let's advance slowly, making sure not to stray from the road.
If the enemy's long-range attacks are intense, stop your advance, eliminate them, and then continue.
The boss's apartment snake is quite a formidable opponent.
Since the only way to defeat them is to get within range of their long-range attacks, let's approach them all at once in a large group and take them down.
Chapter 14: Roses Blooming in the Darkness
There is only one enemy, Rose, but every turn all of your allies take 15 damage from "Ambush".
If you can raise Diene's magic power to 15 or higher and have her use the Ballad sheet music every turn, you can fully heal everyone, making the battle relatively easy.
The dark terrain makes it difficult for attacks to hit each other, but we have a numerical advantage, so if we focus on indirect attacks and launch a full-scale assault, I don't think we'll have too much trouble.
Chapter 15: Hero Elt
This map features a very large number of enemies, and is expected to be a long and drawn-out battle.
This is essentially the final and most challenging map.
Use your items without hesitation, save frequently, and progress little by little.
Diene cannot be deployed, but she will heal everyone's HP on specific turns: turns 3, 10, 15, 20, and 25.
Our immediate strategy is to disable the switch while eliminating the enemies that are attacking from a distance.
I'll make full use of long-range attack weapons like Meteor Strike, Distant Thunder, and Elven Bow, prioritizing the elimination of shooters and long-range mages.
When the Gold Knight troops charge towards the troops below the cliff, retreat to the forest and fire area to the left to ambush them.
They're all equipped with javelins, which makes them troublesome, but if you fight near the forest and flames that restrict their movement, you should be able to avoid being targeted by concentrated attacks.
Be careful, as the captain is equipped with a platinum sword.
In the area in the lower left where the wizards are located, there are enemies with staves that heal the entire party, so if possible, try to whittle them down a bit from the outside.
It is possible to attack from behind a wall.
However, most enemies are incredibly lucky, and even if you try to inflict lethal damage, there's a 40% chance it will be nullified.
Keep that in mind and try to inflict damage through sheer number of attacks.
Once you've pressed all the switches on the cliff, the door behind the Gold Knights will open.
The Swordmaster unit ahead is equipped with the Master's Sword (two attacks) and the Clear Mind (half attack power, double hit), making them the natural enemy of evasion-type allied units with low defense.
Units with a defense rating of 21 or higher can fight safely, so throw those units into battle.
Since they have the ability to slip through obstacles, simply building a wall won't be enough, so be careful.
The Dragoons can be gradually lured in and defeated by entering their attack range.
Since they possess a charge skill, be careful of unexpected prolonged combat.
The berserker troops in the upper left have powerful attacks with a high critical hit rate, and they also use guaranteed hit skills to whittle down your health.
Either prepare before opening the door and defeat them all at once, or lure them out little by little and fight them.
Hero Elt is a formidable opponent.
Since it has a high critical hit rate, it would be best to fight while supporting Maou-sama, who has the Evasion skill, or Marun.
Chapter 16: The Demon King and the Valiant Ones
First, I'd like to deal with the shadows of Dine and Riad that are on the isolated island.
If possible, position yourself to either the left or right to avoid being hit by ranged attacks.
Each shadow coming from the front has its own unique characteristics.
However, since we have a large number of them, we should be able to defeat them even if a few of our members are incapacitated.
Hero Elt is indeed powerful, but since he doesn't move from his spot, let's defeat him with a human wave attack.
I'm incapacitated, so I don't care how much they charge for my medical treatment anymore.
Final Chapter: Demons and Gods
Since reinforcements will continuously appear from four locations, aim for a formation that allows you to defeat them reliably every turn.
You can leave the attack on the boss to Maou-sama's ☆Soul Chains.
After defeating the boss once, it will respawn.
At that time, Maou-sama will learn the Alvina Soul skill (recovers 30 HP each turn).
The attacks are getting fiercer, but now that we've come this far, all we can do is leave it to Maou-sama to do his best.
Character impressions (contains spoilers)
Overall, there were no units that were completely useless.
While they may be difficult to use at first due to their low level, they can all become useful if you train them.
When training units intensively in the training grounds, it's a good idea to equip them with growth rate-boosting items before starting training.
・Mao-sama
As the main character, he was a well-balanced and easy-to-use unit.
While not exceptionally strong, they were powerful because they were given advantages in various aspects, such as skills and items.
After class changing, they become able to use spears, so I equipped them with a javelin and had them perform indirect attacks.
Having the ability to evade attacks made me feel very confident when facing Elt and the goddess.
Alvina
As a healer and a character who could grant extra actions, they were extremely useful.
After Katarina joined the party, I mostly used the "Whip of Love" skill to give her extra turns.
Giving the character the "Cat's Paw" skill was useful because it created a chance that after allowing someone else to act again, the character themselves could also act again.
・ Elfi
This unit was interesting because, with a 100% hit rate when its HP was full, it required a bit of ingenuity to use effectively.
Longbows and elven bows were useful for attacking enemies from a distance.
It becomes even more powerful when its speed increases and it can attack twice.
From the mid-game onward, it proved useful for taking down enemy shooters and enemies with long-range magic from a distance.
It was a very important unit from a strategic standpoint.
・Mukuron
It's a cute name, which is quite a contrast to her impressive background.
He was a well-rounded attacker and played a key role as a front-line player from start to finish.
After class change, its movement range increases, making it much easier to use.
·bar
Although its growth rate is low and it's not particularly strong in terms of combat power, it plays an important role as one of the few flying units available in the early stages of the game.
If you can somehow get them to change classes and equip them with powerful weapons like the ☆Sky Spear Lapital, they will become a useful force in battle.
Furthermore, by increasing its movement range and giving it a skill that allows it to move again, it has become even easier to use.
In the later stages of the game, it played a significant role in taking down shooters and long-range magic users when paired with other flying units.
Iyo
It performed well as a solid front-line unit in the early stages, but I felt it was a little underwhelming in the later stages.
They were by no means weak, and they played a vital, behind-the-scenes role.
Irina
This is a power-type attacker with high HP and strength.
This character is well-suited to being a vanguard, utilizing a variety of aggressive skills.
Giving him the "Meteor Stance" ability increased his ability to guarantee a kill, making him even stronger.
・Riyad
As a magic attacker, it was quite useful.
Having "Mana's Blessing" negates negative status effects, so not having to worry about status ailments was a major advantage.
From the middle of the game onward, I primarily used the Tornado, which has a range of 3, as my main weapon.
Once you can use a cane, you'll be able to do more things and become busier.
Bee
He excelled as an attacker who wielded an axe.
However, since its technique is relatively weak, while follow-up attacks are possible, they seem somewhat less reliable.
Compared to Irina and Mukuron, her HP is lower, so like Iyo, I often had her fight slightly further back from the front lines.
・ Katarina
She played a vital role as a healer, filling in for Alvina, until the very end.
There are many situations where I want Alvina to use her love whip, so Katarina, who can focus on healing, was extremely useful.
After class change, your movement speed will increase significantly, giving you more opportunities to shine.
・Diene
While she was initially treated as a magic attack unit, I think it's best to use her as a healer.
The sheet music for the ballad that heals the entire party, and the sheet music for the rock that can direct the entire area, proved useful in a variety of situations.
・Tenmus
This is a strong, sturdy, and not-too-slow tank unit.
As long as you're careful about magic attacks, this is an excellent unit that can whittle down enemies on the front lines.
Since it can be easily defeated when exposed to long-range magic, caution is needed when using it.
Mai-chan
While its toughness is a concern, if you nurture it, it will grow into an attacker similar to Maru.
Since follow-up attacks are likely to occur, weapons with high attack power, such as Claymores, will be effective.
Once their skills have developed sufficiently, you can give them techniques like the Meteor Stance.
・crying
While it has high offensive capabilities, this unit is fragile in terms of HP and defense.
However, if you primarily use ranged attacks with a longbow, it's not much of a concern.
Even after class change, they can still be quite effective if used primarily for ranged attacks.
Yako
Leveling them up is difficult, but once you've trained them, their flying ability and bow skills make them useful for taking down shooters and other similar units.
Pairing them with Baal and Maria to form a skirmish unit is useful for attacking distant enemies.
・Marun
While its defensive capabilities are a concern, this unit boasts extremely high burst damage output.
Although their starting level is low, if you train them in the arena with the "☆Destructive Soul Reaper" and growth rate boosting items, they should be able to class change quickly.
This unit is primarily intended for use as a powerful enemy killer.
・A-tan!
This unit has extremely high defensive capabilities, thanks to its skill "Absolute Territory," which prevents follow-up attacks from occurring between units.
Because it's a unit that's hard to defeat thanks to its "cell regeneration" and "large shield" abilities, it's recommended to equip it with a weapon that can be used both at close and long range and have it charge into the enemy lines to whittle them down.
Be careful of magic attacks.
Maria
It possesses fantastic elements like flight, magic, and a staff, but its stats are somewhat mediocre, so it would be best suited as a support character.
I equipped him with the Tornado spell, which has a range of 3, and he proved effective when used as part of a skirmish unit alongside Baal Yako.

The big explosion in Chapter 12 occurs when you are adjacent to Rose, so if you defeat her while leaving one space between you, it won't trigger.
Thank you for the information.
I was absolutely certain it would explode...
I will add this to my strategy notes.
