Game Overview (No Spoilers)

Akihito Date, a college student who is always short on cash, is invited by his friend Takumi Suzuhara to take on a part-time job helping out at a church event.
However, a murder occurs in the middle of the event, causing chaos at the scene.
Akihito doesn't intend to solve the problem himself, but a certain inconsistency prompts him to try and verify whether his deductions are correct.

The story progresses as you investigate key locations and converse with characters.
In the final resolution phase, the deduction progresses by selecting the correct options and presenting cards that serve as evidence.
The use of variations allows for a wide range of movement to be expressed, making it a work that can be enjoyed like an anime.
Review (no spoilers)
As this is the second episode, the case is a bit more elaborate than the previous one, and the story is longer.
The story itself wasn't particularly long, but it felt quite long as a game.
Similarly, in the exploration sections where you can move freely, there were times when I didn't know what to do next, and the story wouldn't progress.
The great thing about mystery stories is that you can persevere through difficult parts because there's a solution waiting at the end.

I found it quite difficult.
To be honest, I relied on walkthroughs for the exploration parts and the final deduction part.
The parts of the exploration section where I got stuck were right after discovering the body and when Futaba almost gets caught in the winch.
In both scenarios, you can't proceed until you've checked all the necessary points, but even though I thought I'd checked all the main locations, it seems I missed something and I couldn't move forward.
The fact that even very small points were judged individually was quite strict.
Regarding the exploration part, I tried to explore almost all the places I could move around and investigate, but there were times when I couldn't make any progress.
Even after looking at the walkthrough flowchart on the official website, I couldn't figure out where the "storage room" was, and I spent a lot of time searching around.
It seems the only way to get to the "storage room" is by examining the door on the screen after leaving the "fireplace room," so I couldn't figure it out for a while (apologies if there are other ways to get there).
I was able to identify the culprit on the first try.
However, I couldn't figure out on my own the part where you have to choose two cards in the final deduction.
Since it was an item I hadn't paid any attention to in the main story, I read the deduction feeling defeated.
I had noticed that it was a strangely striking item, but I never imagined it would be so involved in the case.
The bonus content after clearing the game, where you rearrange the steps of the crime, was like a puzzle and quite fun.
本編中では組み込まれていないものの、実際にどんな手順なのか細かく作り込まれている点が凄いなと感じます。
I've come to realize once again that games with substantial content have many settings and backgrounds beyond what the player directly interacts with as a game.
