I purchased and played "Baseball Club Story," a smartphone app made by Kairosoft.

If they are defeated in the summer tournament, the third-year students retire, and they continue practicing, aiming for the autumn tournament and the spring Koshien tournament.

It's rare for a weak team to get lucky and beat a strong opponent; this is a game where you just have to play steadily and diligently.
The fact that you can't completely skip the matches is also a negative point.
